Tata & Howard is pleased to announce that the firm has been awarded the contract for design and construction services of the Canton Water Treatment Facility. The ultrafiltration membrane facility will treat approximately 3.25 million gallons of drinking water per day from two well sites. This process will remove iron and maganese, as well as organic matter and color present in the raw water at one of the well sites. Tata & Howard was the first to implement the use of ultrafiltration for municipal drinking water treatment in New England in 1998 at the Littleton Spectacle Pond Water Treatment Facility. |
